Bloliday — mish gittens

Hi lovely friends and followers, you may have been wondering where the regular weekly Mish posts have gone. Or you may not have. Either way I will let you know that a couple of weeks ago I didn't get my usual Sunday night post out because life thrust an unexpected tragedy into our little part of the world. It has since been a private time of sadness and contemplation and writing has not been on my mind. It has been a forced break which I am now trying to embrace as a bit of a sabbatical.

I have a writing retreat coming up this week which I am completely terrified about. I will be mixing with way too many clever (and seriously published) writing folk and am practically leaking feelings of intimidation out my pores. I can't imagine getting through it without some kind of outpouring in my writing blog.

I plan, however, to try.

Next month you will hear back from me - I am completely committed to annoying you again with my version of life's comings and goings, and my terrible habit (trabit) of mixing a couple of words (clurds) into one ridiculous nonsensical non-goolglable word like mumvention, and scaroogler, and bloliday.

I may even return bigger and better and braver than ever. I'm completely pumped. Thanks for reading everyone, I can't wait until we meet here again. Here is a weird picture to look at while I am gone.
