Happy New Fear!

Merry Christmas and happy new year everyone! Thank you all for your support in 2013. We are just at the very beginning of this blogging/writing journey and I am really excited about how it is going so far. Just the fact that it 'is going' means a few goals have been reached. I like to keep the bar low. I plan to spend 2014 conquering many more of the doubts, fears and anxieties involved with embarking on something new and at the end of this year I will have to decide whether we can financially afford for me to pursue this dream. It is a short time frame to make some serious inroads but with a whole 10 hours a week kid-free this year my only excuse will be lack of talent (I plan to rule out lack of industry research with my New Year's Resolution Number One: find out who you have to sleep with to get a children's book published).

So stay with me and I promise to bore, infuriate or entertain you depending on where I am in my cycle.
